The Rock 103
Summer Of Love 40th Anniversary Party |

The SUMMER OF
LOVE DJ
production was
recently performed
at Sam's Town River
Palace Arena.
It featured some
great music from
1967 - 1973.
This is a special
multi-media
presentation
including multiple
14 foot diagonal
video screens with
custom imagery and
content, including
but not limited to:
archived classic
film footage from
various music
festivals
(Woodstock, Monterey
Pop Festival, etc.),
custom content such
as lava lamps, peace
signs, hippies,
freaks, love
children, oil wheel
effects, you name
it. All of the
show's content
(visual and musical)
was created in house
from scratch,
various DVD footage,
etc. It was a
total turn key
operation. One
call did it all. |

During an
interview with Rock
103 last week
promoting the event,
DJs Tim and Bad
Dog dubbed the show
"The Mark
Anderson Experience"
after viewing a
short custom music
video (Edwin Starr's
"War"). Mark
produced the video
by creating a
collage of Vietnam
war footage (moving
and stills), mixed
with people
marching,
protesting,
psychedelic images,
peace
signs, Haight-Ashbury
road signs, district
footage, and
everything else you
could imagine.
The show "blew the
minds" of everyone
in attendance from
Clear Channel jocks,
sales, marketing,
and promotions staff
to the hippies in
costume competing
for a 4 day trip to
San Francisco!
